The infamous game of Fortnite has finally released the season 6 update this morning at 4 am. It is crazy to believe that we are already at season 6 because it feels like yesterday I was just looking at the drift skin when I first laid my eyes on the season 5 battle pass. And of course, with a new season of Fortnite, the creators at Epic Games make a new battle pass filled with emotes, dancing emotes, pickaxes, back blings, gliders, contrails, and everybody’s favorite new Skins. The battle pass is 10 dollars and the battle pass + 25 tiers is 25 dollars. The new battle consists of the new skins such as DJ Yonder, Calamity, Giddy-Up, Fable, Dusk, Nightshade, and the tier 100 skin is Dire who can actually turn into a wolfman, a Brown wolf, grey wolf, white wolf, and blue wolf. I would talk about the different capes, contrails, pickaxes etc but it would take too long, just go watch a youtube video of a youtuber or streamer checking out the battle pass for the first time.          New map changes consist of a completely new biome on the west side of the map. The new biome is all ice and snow covered and offers new POI’s (Points of Intrest) on the map. The first is Slippery Slopes and the second is Fridged Fortress. Next to that is a volcanic eruption area with molten rock and magma it even has a temple looking structure within the magma itself. So if you haven’t already, get on Fortnite and check out the new battle pass and explore the new map with friends!

With the Oakland A’s and the New York Yankees clutching the wildcard in the American League many fans of the NL (National League) are on the edge of their seats wondering what will happen next. With 6 games left out of the 162 game season, many teams in the AL (American League) already know their team has made it or not but that isn’t to say the same about the NL teams. Many teams such as the Nationals and Phillies are still fighting for their spot. The Nationals have a record of 79-78 and the Phillies record is a close 78-78. Other teams in the NL like the Brewers and Cardinals are close with the Brewers record being 90-67 and the Cardinals at 87-70. As you can see the NL teams are fighting for the wildcard spot to have the opportunity to make the playoffs. With just 6 games left one team can lose 4 and the other team can win 4 which can completely change the standings in each division.

Some Matchups to look forward too in the playoffs are the Boston Red Sox vs Indians and the New York Yankees vs Oakland A’s. The Oakland A’s and the New York Yankees are currently fighting for home-field advantage. How important is the home-field advantage? I believe it can depict the game before it starts. The crowd changes the energy of the game for both teams but it matters if it is changed in a good way or in a bad way for either team. And not to mention the wildcard game is a one-and-done deal, so having home-field advantage is very important in my opinion.

Night school is an up and coming movie hitting theaters this next Friday on the 28th. The movie features some pretty big names such as the infamous Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish both known for the comedic movie roles and personalities in general. Some of the other cast includes Anne Winters from her huge role in 13 Reasons Why with Dylan Minnette which was a big success on Netflix, Rob Riggle who is known for his funny movie appearances in movies like Let’s Be Cops, Dumb and Dumber to, 21 Jumpstreet with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, and lastly The Hangover. But that’s not it Jacob Batalon also plays in this comedy, he is known for his breakout role as Ned in Spider-Man Homecoming playing along Tom Holland and then his role in Avengers Infinity War.

Night School is about a kid (Kevin Hart) who drops out of high school to become a “winner” the movie skips to him being an adult and trying to get his GED or Good Enough Degree. This is when he meets the night school teacher (Tiffany Haddish) and things become interesting, to say the least. Some hilarious scenes shot in the preview was Kevin Hart dressed in a chicken outfit riding a train to get to work and the night school teacher punching Kevin in the face with a boxing glove, I don’t want to spoil any more for you so definitely watch out for those scenes and many more this Friday when Night School comes to theaters. I’m going this Friday… Are you?

The famous Fortnite streamer Tyler “Ninja” Belvins has just got a feature by ESPN on September 18th. The magazine has ninjas face on the front with the words “THE LEGEND OF NINJA, BIGGEST GAMER IN THE WORLD.”  which is a very bold statement because of the other professional gamers in the world, such as Nadeshot and people like Tfue that have been in the pro gaming scene forever. But in a way, they aren’t wrong everybody knows who ninja is. Since the release of Fortnite Battle Royale in August of 2017 Ninja has been grinding out the game and was one of the first people to start gaining recognition for the game. Other people like Nick eh 30 and TSM Myth got popular for their quick editing skills and building techniques. TSM Daequan got attention because of his double pump accuracy and funny commentary. And other streamers such as my favorite streamer CDNThe3rd got big off the game by creating montages and funny moments for his youtube channel, which I found when he had 33k subs and I watched him grow to 1.2 million in 4 months.

The magazine was about Ninja and his rise to fame. The article is about the life story of how he loved video games ever since a young age and started to play halo for Luminosity gaming where he won many halo events, where he would meet Tfue who played halo professionally for Denial eSports. Both were good friends back in Halo and are now looked at as the best Fortnite gamers together and when they face off it is very interesting to watch. After Halo Ninja realized he could make a living off of video games and streaming. He would rack up anywhere from 2,500-3,000 dollars a month so with that he would drop out of college and continue his streaming days. He would play games like H1Z1 and PUBG, before Fortnite would really blow him up.

Ninja would have a very serious problem because of his retina detaching he needed eye surgery to fix the problem. He wasn’t able to Livestream for this time and when he finally came back 9 weeks later he had lost some fans and viewers because of his absence from Twitch. It didn’t matter though because Fortnite would come out and change his life forever. Ninja would play with people such as Marshmello, Drake, Lil Yachty and JuJu Smith. Now Ninja has 18,175,200 Subs on Youtube, 10 million on Instagram and 3.34 million on Twitter. Is there anybody out there who will take the throne in the future?

With the release of the Black Ops 4 beta by Treyarch, blackout mode is blowing up and getting worldwide attention from some of the biggest streamers in the biz. Streamers like Ninja, DrDisrespect, Shroud, and all the FaZe members imaginable are playing the game and they are loving it. Ninja has even said that he will be taking a small break from Fortnite to grind out Blackout. Many fans don’t like the decision which he understands but he goes on to say “as a streamer, I like to play games that I’m interested in and that I can enjoy” Many FaZe members, like I said, are also getting into the game such as FaZe cizzorz, Cloak, Rain, Adapt, Tfue, etc.

Many people are describing the new Blackout mode as a rip-off of PUBG (Player Unkown Battle Grounds)  and I do agree in a sense, the game has some similar features such as looting and vehicle aspect but blackout brings sooooo many new features to the game them PUBG does. Some new features are the guns, vehicles such as the helicopter, sliding abilities, previous call of duty maps such as Raid, Nuketown, and Firing Range that are implemented into the map, jump out features, perks you can pick up off people that can make you faster or quieter, and lastly zombies at mystery box locations you kill to grab a gun at.

The beta for B04 ends tomorrow the 18th and I wasn’t able to play it,  but I will get the game when it comes out. The game is set to release October 12th and features a multiplayer, zombies and the infamous blackout mode. One thing Treyarch has done this year is taken out the campaign which I really don’t like because in my opinion while Multiplayer, zombies and the new blackout mode will become repetitive the campaign told a story and was a new mission every time. I truly can’t wait for this game to come out!!

With the NFL season, underway fans and die-hard fans are already getting into the season hoping their team will become champs. The first game of the 2018-2019 NFL season was on September 6th when the defending champs the Eagles took on the Falcons. The game was a close game but the Eagles finally pulled away and beat the Falcons 18-12. A series of close games followed such as the Dolphins vs Titans with the Dolphins pulling out a close victory 27-20, Seahawks vs Broncos with the Broncos pulling off the upset 27-24 and lastly The Texans vs Patriots with the Patriots Prevailing 27-20.

In other news, the Pittsburg Steelers and the Clevland Browns tied in a nail-biting 21-21 game, the game went into overtime Chris Boswell (9) Missed the 43 yard overtime field goal which gave the Browns to make something happen. The Browns gave up a turnover and the Steelers gained possession, but with 45 seconds left in overtime the Browns managed an interception and tried for the win from 32 yards out. With the ball set Zane Gonzalez (2) kicks and the ball gets deflected by number 90 T.J Watt on the Steelers and the game then ended in a tie. Some week 1 blowouts consist of the Bills vs Ravens which ended with the Ravens destroying the Bills 47-3 and the Lions vs Jets ending in a 48-17 Landslide Victory by the Jets.

LeBron James Broke the internet by announcing his move to the Los Angeles Lakers this year. LeBron James is an American Basketball player who was in the 2003 NBA draft. At the age of 18 years old, the young Lebron James averaged between 26-35 points per game at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. He won 3 State championships under his coach Dru. The Clevland Cavilers drafted LeBron James and he instantly became a star on the team. On his NBA debut, he scored 25 points, 4 assists and had a handful of rebounds. This was very impressive for a debut and set the NBA record for the most points scored by a prep-to-pro player on their debut.

LeBron would spend 7 years on the Cavilers with no championship rings. In the hunt for a ring, he would take his talents to the Miami Heat on July 8th of 2010. The Miami Heat had won a championship 4 years before, led by Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neil they definitely had talent on their team. With James moving to the heat the roster was full of talent and young talent. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh would make “the big three” with other talents behind them such as Mario Chalmers, Chris Andersen, and Udonis Haslem.  They would pick up the infamous three-point shooter from the Boston Celtics Ray Allen for the 2012 season and would later win the NBA Championship that year. This was LeBron’s 1st ring and he would get his 2nd ring the next year in the 2013 season.

He would then move back to the Cavilers in 2014 and would win the championship against the Golden State Warriors in 2016 after being down 3-1 in the finals which ended the 52-year drought of Cleveland sports not winning a sports championship. Now in 2018, he has announced yet again another move to the Los Angeles Lakers with Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram Rajon Rondo, Kyle Kuzma Lance Stephenson, and JaVale McGee. The Lakers are looking like a very young and strong team and with rumors of a Kobe Bryant Return, I do believe somewhere down the road the Los Angeles Lakers will win a championship.
