For all the people who didn’t know what eSports was, eSports is a professional gaming platform for the best of the best in games like CSGO, Call of Duty, Gears of War, Halo and now Fortnite. eSports is also called MLG or Major League Gaming, teams compete for prizes as big as 1 million dollars in small stadiums throughout the U.S and sometimes in the U.K. Some of the biggest eSports names in the biz are Optic, Faze, TSM, Cloud 9, Splyce, and now a big team on the rise is Team Liquid. These teams have made names for themselves because they have won many tournaments and have been around for a while… except Team Liquid.
With Fortnite crushing all video game records its no doubt that Fortnite will be appearing on the big stage very soon, they already have their own “show” Summer Skirmish that has an estimated 500 million views so far. with players such as Ninja, Tfue, and CDNthe3rd people from all over can come and watch their favorite internet Personalities live. In other news, a team named 100 Thieves led by former professional Call of Duty gamer of Optic Gaming NadeShot and big artists like Drake and I believe Travis Scott have bought many shares in eSports. And to be completely honest they are making a great investment because gaming is on the rise and will probably make more of an impact on the younger kids.
