OMG, I was so excited when I heard that Big Mouth was coming out with a 2nd season on October 5th. The show is about young kids 13-15 going through puberty and what the mental and physical process is. The show is like a Family Guy or an American Dad it has A LOT of adult humor, inappropriate scenes, nudity and swearing so Parents don’t fall for “its a cartoon mom” and Kids don’t watch it if you are not at least 16 years or older… And DON’T watch the show with your parents. Nick, Andrew, Missy, Jay, and Jessi. are young kids experiencing new things with their bodies, Nick has an old and wrinkly “Hormone monster” that in the show will tell them what to do when they see something with a girl (it’s basically their inner thoughts) Nick doesn’t like his hormone monster because Nick is smaller than all the rest of his friends and has just started growing hair… and to add onto the fact his hormone monster is the same as his weird gym coach and sex ed teacher who has never had sex and doesn’t know anything about sex (Coach Steve)… Btw he is like 50. Andrew is Nicks best Friend and has a normal Hormone Monster (Moriesse) but although Moriesse is more normal than nicks hormone monster Moriesse is not that intelligent and is pretty dumb telling Andrew everything wrong to do. Jessi also has a Hormone Monster (Connie) who is kinda like Moriesse, in fact, Connie and Moriesse know one another but Connie has more self-control. This also makes me think if in season 3 we will see Jay’s or Missy’s Hormone monster considering they don’t have one yet. What do you think?
Missy is a nerdy girl who is polite and loves school, she also has alittle crush on Andrew but mostly keeps to herself, Missy doesn’t have a hormone monster like I said, and she gets embarrassed about her body until a certain person helps her out??? And lastly Jay. Probably one of my favorite characters, he ends up dating Jessi and they do something together that gets their parents worried. He also has this weird thing with pillows so yeah like I said parents and kids be cautious. That’s all I got to say about that. But Jay is the funniest of the group who has a mother who doesn’t really care what he does and a father who is always on business trips leaving his mother free to cheat on her husband. The show is really funny and I’m halfway through the 2nd season. Unfortunately, there are only 10 episodes and each episode is only 25-30 min. In my opinion, the episodes need to be longer but it might be harder to create a story-line with them being that long.
